DONATE A DEVICE, CHANGE A LIFE.
Do you have any unwanted, unused mobile devices laying around at home collecting dust?
If so, you could make a huge difference to someone else’s life in your Borough by donating your unwanted devices to the Mobile Mop Up programme.
Mobile Mop Up is an initiative launched by international recovery, recycling and reuse experts GSUK, who are on a mission to save the planet by preventing unwanted
electronic accessories and devices being sent to landfill.
GSUK have partnered up with Kingston Council and The Mayor’s Charitable Trust in order to raise money for the Mayor’s chosen charities, Oxygen and the Kingston Centre for Independent Living, through the recovery, data-wiping, recycling and resale of donated mobile phones.
To find out how to donate your unwanted phones and help change someone’s life for the better, visit your participating local library, leisure centre or School.

Single Donations

There are occasions in our lives when we might want to make a commemorative donation to charity to mark a special occasion. Making such a donation to KCIL will ensure a positive contribution to the lives of disabled people in and around the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

You may wish to support KCIL by:

  • Giving in Celebration of a birthday, wedding or anniversary.
  • Donating in Memory of someone special.
  • Bequeathing a Gift in your will

Regular Giving

You may wish to make a regular donation to KCIL either on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis. You can do this by simply setting up a bank standing order using a KCIL form.

How to Make A Donation

You can make a donation online or by cheque made payable to KCIL, or you may contact the KCIL office to request a standing order form for regular giving.
