At KCIL’s February Coffee Morning, we were joined by Melvyn Narraidoo from Royal Borough of Kingston Council, Fergus Keegan from NHS South West London CCG and David Ashley from Mark Bates Ltd.
Melvyn gave us an update on PA vaccinations. Fergus answered more of our questions around the coronavirus vaccine. And David responded to questions on the employment law surrounding vaccination.
If you missed the Q&A or would like to catch up with the questions again, you can find them on KCIL’s YouTube channel. There is a segment from Melvyn and playlists of the short video Q&A answers from Fergus and David. So, if you’ve been wondering about vaccine scams or if you can say that your PA needs to be vaccinated in a job advert, amongst other questions, head over to KCIL’s YouTube channel.
KCIL would like to invite you to the launch of their new Access All Areas services. Building on our previous experience as accessibility consultants and incorporating our staff, members, service users, and trustees’ lived experiences.
We can help organisations/service providers and employers ensure that they meet their legislated accessibility requirements. From the planning stages of new buildings and business projects to ensuring that existing organisations and employers are doing their best to ensure equality for all. We can assess and offer guidance on everything from design plans to your internal HR services and communication strategy.
Good accessibility is an integral part of every business and organisation; whether you work in education, retail, food, not-for-profits, sports, culture, the list goes on – accessibility includes everyone.
Last November KCIL hosted the online Access All Areas Festival where we covered a wide range of disability related topics from physical and sensory impairments, to learning difficulties and mental health issues. You can find out more about the day from our newsletter here.
We are planning similar events in 2021, find out more here.
