Sutton’s independent travel training (ITT) provider – KCIL – is linking up with Advocacy for All’s Action Voices and Speak Up Sutton groups to hold a workshop about the benefits of travelling independently and the challenges faced by young people with SEND, in Sutton, in doing so.
Independent travel training (ITT) for young people with SEND is an important life skill that promotes independence, increases confidence and self-esteem, improves health and wellbeing and allows young people to access more social and educational activities and employment opportunities.
