Disability Awareness Day

On Sunday, 1-3 pm, 5 September, Kingston town centre’s Market Square will be hosting an event to raise awareness of accessibility issues faced by disabled communities within the borough.

Visit stalls from local disability groups, including Mencap, Kingston Centre for Independent Living, Kingston Association for the Blind.

There will also be stalls for Kingston Council’s Adult Social Care team and Involve’s peer mentors, who work with people with learning disabilities.
