These days, many jobs come with an EAP package (employee assistance programme). These are usually a telephone advice line for mental health support and can come with additional benefits such as discounts in shops. Recognising the valuable support PAs provide, ILG has created ILG-PA, an employee assistance programme specially for PAs.
ILG-PA includes:
24/7 Counselling and advice line
24/7 Legal advice for personal matters
24/7 Personal financial advice
Exclusive rewards and discounts
Mental Health app subscription
Personal Care Assistant badge
Branded ILG PA lanyard
The opportunity to sign up for a Blue Light Card for extra generous discounts.
If you employ PAs, ILG-PA can be an attractive bonus to recruit and retain PAs. If you employ PAs through Direct Payments from Kingston Council Adult Social Care, the cost of ILG-PA for up to two PAs is now built into most Direct Payment care plans. We recommend that people check their care plans to make sure the cost of ILG-PA is included before purchasing ILG-PA for your PA. If you have more than two PAs, contact the Self-Directed Support team at Kingston Council to discuss arranging ILG-PA for your PAs.
Once you have checked that ILG-PA is included in your care plan, you can use your card from your Direct Payment account to purchase. If you have a managed account, contact [email protected] for a voucher code. Your PA will need to prove to ILG that they work for you with a copy of their contract or a payslip.
ILG-PA is currently not available for self employed PAs, there are plans for a future ILG-PA for self employed PAs, that self employed PAs can purchase.
If you are employing PAs through Direct Payments from another source or through a Personal Health Budget, or you are a self-funder, ILG-PA can be purchased by yourself.
