On Sunday 10th July, KCIL went into Central London for the ASICS London 10K. Two lovely fundraisers, Monty and Sam, braved the 29 degree heat to complete the race and fundraise for us. KCIL CEO Jason also took part, and can be seen fashioning our new KCIL technical running top design in the image above. The race started in Picadilly, going past St James’s Palace, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben and Westminster Palace before finishing up on Whitehall. Thank you so much to our runners Monty and Sam for choosing to support KCIL. As of today, Monty has raised £595 whilst Sam has raised £200. Amazing fundraising from both of them! Jo, Shirley and myself (Abi) went along to cheer from the sidelines which was great fun- we might even take part next year?!
We have plenty more spaces available in races over the coming months- from 5Ks to marathons. Your entry into the race will be free and we set achievable fundraising targets so you can focus on your training. If you would be interested in taking part in one, please register your interest on our website or email me at [email protected].
Thank you again to Monty and Sam.
