The first few months of the year are well known to traditionally be some of the most difficult for mental health and wellbeing; with isolation and seasonal depression identified as key contributors toward the struggle many of us face each new year.

That’s why we are pleased to announce the launch of our new drop-in befriending sessions at Queen Mary Hall at Cambridge Gardens. Held twice monthly, we aim to provide a place where residents and service users can come and socialise; with each other or with members of Team KCIL who will be on hand throughout the session.

On top of that, we hope to be able to work with visitors as needed to try and find long term solutions to these problems; such as signposting them to appropriate social events and groups, helping to ensure they have the correct benefits and level of care, partnering with other organisations across the borough to share services and expertise, and much more.

To find out more about this service keep an eye on our website, social media, and newsletter, to be the first to hear about upcoming session dates and times.
