As well as always being a friendly voice at the end of the phone – call free on 116 123 – did you know that you can also email Samaritans at [email protected] or use their online app to track your mood, find useful techniques and create a safety plan.

Mind’s Side by Side

Sometimes it can help to talk to someone who has been there too. Mind’s Side by Side online community is one such place where you can share how you’re feeling with others 

Kooth

If you’re between the age of 11-25, Kooth is a online mental wellbeing community with helpful articles, discussion boards and people to talk to. Kooth is available in both the boroughs of Kingston and Richmond.

The Mix

The Mix supports young people up to the age of 25. They are there to help with issues ranging from mental health to money, from homelessness to finding a job, from break-ups to drugs, racism to sexuality and gender identity. You can chat with The Mix team via their online community, on social, through their free, confidential helpline or through their counselling service .

Silver Line

The Silver Line Helpline is a free, confidential telephone service for older people, providing friendship, conversation and support. They are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call free on 0800 4708090.

Switchboard 

Switchboard is a one-stop listening service for LGBT+ people by phone 0300 3300630 (open 10:00-22:00 every day) or through online chat. 

South West London and St. George’s Mental Health 24/7 Crisis Line

If you live in Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth and need mental health support in a crisis, you can call the 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Line on 0800 028 8000.
