Support Worker/PA (ref: SPA-SSA and SPA-NSA)

We are seeking a friendly, caring and reliable Personal Assistant/Support Worker to support SPA-NSA and her mother, SPA-SSA with various activities and tasks. This is a flexible, casual position with hours ranging from 2-10 per week, depending on needs. 

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others and is available for occasional companionship and support. Duties include: assisting with weekly shopping, occasional help with transporting a cat to veterinary appointments, accompanying SPA-NSA and SPA-SSA to London for trips to the theatre, museums, or other local outings such as the cinema, garden centers, or Christmas markets, assisting with hospital appointments, including: dropping SPA-NSA off for surgery in November (around 7:30 am), staying with her until she goes in and then delivering shopping to SPA-SSA, picking SPA-NSA up post-surgery, doing any necessary shopping, and assisting SPA-NSA at home during recovery, including help with rehabilitation as needed. 
Other tasks will be occasional trips to Godstone, lunches, or coffee.
 
The PA we are looking for will have a valid driving license and be comfortable in driving. Access to a car would be beneficial.
You’ll provide companionship and assistance with both routine and spontaneous activities.

Experience in nursing, especially personal care would be beneficial for this role. DBS can be done by the employer if you do not currently possess one. 

The PA needs to be an animal friendly person. First Aid training is required for this role.

Support Worker/PA (ref: SPA-HKO)

We are looking for a Personal Assistant/Support Worker to support a 21-year-old gentleman with activities, like going out for a  walk, travelling by public transport and accessing services within the community.

SPA-HKT was diagnosed with Autism and moderate/severe learning disabilities so the ideal PA will have an experience working with autistic people and people with learning disabilities.

Speaking Mandarin or Cantonese would be beneficial for the role, however it is not necessary. 

Support Worker/Personal Assistant (ref: SPA-MSA)

We are looking for a Personal Assistant/Support Worker for a 19-year-old woman to take her to Carshalton College (and ensuring she goes into the building) and return her back to her home address in Sutton after college.
MSA will attend college 3 days a week (Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays) and on the 4th and 5th days of the week the PA will take her out on trips in the community or to local places like shopping and cinema to support and develop MSA’s independence.
The ideal PA will have some understanding of ADHD and Autism, be compassionate and have empathy for others. Willingness to learn is important for this role.
Clean driving licence and a car are essential.

Support Worker/Personal Assistant (ref: SPA-SDA)

We are currently looking to hire a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant to support a 78-year-old woman whose primary language is Malayalam. A PA who is fluent in Malayalam (or Tamil) would be ideal, as clear and comfortable communication is essential for her daily wellbeing and companionship.

The family has already found a PA who covers part of the required hours, so we are now looking for someone to cover the remaining hours.

The role involves providing personal care (including assistance with showering and cleaning the bathroom afterward), helping with breakfast, accompanying her on outings, and offering companionship. Prior experience in dementia care is highly preferred, as the ideal PA will play a key role in helping her lead an enjoyable and fulfilling daily life.

Companion/Personal Assistant x 2 (ref: SPA-ELS)

KCIL is looking for a kind and compassionate two PAs for a 21-year-old woman. You’ll be spending time together going to the cinema, bowling, disco or just going to local pubs or restaurants as SPA-ELS enjoys eating out.
SPA-ELS loves going out so the PAs will support her to access the community at the weekends enabling her to remain independent and enjoy her free time as she chooses to.
The ideal PA will have experience working with people with ADHD, OCD, autism and learning disability. Training in Positive Behaviour would be required for the role.
The PA we are looking for will have a driving licence and a car.

Companion/Personal Assistant (ref: SPA-NDI)

We are looking for a kind and compassionate PA for a 32-year-old woman.
SPA-NDI needs support to access the community and use facilities safely. She will attend Centre for Disabled Riders for horse riding on weekly basis in Teddington so one of the PA’s tasks will be to help SPA-NDI to get there from her house in Sutton.
The ideal PA will also help SPA-NDI with cooking meals, assisting her going for a walk and shopping.
The PA needs to have a driving licence and a car.

Personal Assistant/Companion (ref: SPA-HBI)

We are looking for a PA to help support a 26 year old gentleman with meal prep, cooking, going to the gym. 

Sharing common interests, such as football and Xbox would be great. A driving license and a car would be desirable.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is qualified and experienced in working with autistic people. A good sense of humor would be a bonus.

Personal Assistant/Companion (ref: SPA-KMI)

We are looking for a calm, organised and compassionate PA for a 37-year-old woman (SPA-KMI) who has been diagnosed with several chronic health conditions.

The PA will assist with medication, household responsibilities, like laundry organisation, meal planning and cooking, grocery shopping. Other responsibility will be accompanying on outing and assisting with public transport.

The ideal PA will have strong understanding of neurodiversity to be able to provide emotional and physical support.

SPA-KMI has 2 cats, so the PA needs to be a cat person.

Personal Assistant/Companion (ref: SPA-ABC)

We are looking for a calm, organised and compassionate PA for a 35-year-old woman (SPA-ABC) who has a complex disability which affects her strength, dexterity and mobility, and which makes her vulnerable to joint subluxations and injuries, as well as mental health difficulties including complex PTSD.
SPA-ABC is not always able to communicate verbally or in writing, but has mental capacity, and would benefit from a PA/carer with training experience around complex communication needs and support.
The PA will help SPA-ABC with food preparation, assisting with eating and drinking when required, assistance with dressing, showering and toileting.
The PA will also be helping with daily living tasks, like cleaning of surfaces and hoovering, preparation and prompting around taking regular medications, driving to/from medical and hydrotherapy appointments, supporting around email and phone admin tasks around organizing these appointments and other regular admin.
Experience of care in relation to both physical and mental health conditions, including training and/or experience in relation to supporting someone with complex PTSD triggers.

Personal Assistant/Support Worker (ref: SPA-BSI)

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Personal Assistant (PA) to support a 28-year-old woman during outdoor activities, including walks, shopping, and park visits. The PA will work alongside BSI’s regular PA to provide full support and ensure a positive experience.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:
 
 – Experience with behavioural interventions such as Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), or similar approaches
 – Quick learner with prior experience supporting individuals with severe learning difficulties
 – Ability to handle various situations during community visits with patience and professionalism
 – A compassionate, reliable, and proactive approach to assistance
 – A valid driver’s license (preferred but not required)
 
The role also includes the opportunity to work as a cover PA in the absence of the regular PA.

Personal Assistant/Driver (ref: SPA-TZI)

We are urgently looking for a reliable and punctual Personal Assistant to support a family in Sutton.

The main responsibility is to drop off and collect a child from Brookfield Primary School each weekday. The child needs to arrive at school by 8:40 AM, with pick-up at 3:10 PM. The school run will total around 10 hours per week—one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon, Monday to Friday.

In addition to school transport, the role includes 7 hours per week of light household tasks such as tidying, laundry, and basic cleaning.

Responsibilities include:

– Preparing and serving breakfast

– Assisting with the morning shower and general grooming

– Making the bed and light tidying

– In the afternoon: serving dinner, refilling the hot water bottle, and doing the washing up

We are looking for someone who values consistency, has a warm demeanor, and is attentive to the needs of others. Prior experience in a similar support role is helpful but not essential—what matters most is the right attitude.

Personal Assistant (ref: SPA-FDA)

We are looking for an experienced PA to help a 83-year-old man with personal care (10,5 hours a week) and companion care (4,5 hours a week – going for lunch, ideally on Wednesday, but the day can be arranged with the family).
SPA-FDA was diagnosed with dementia and need support in the morning with getting him ready for the day (1 hour about 10am-11am). The main task will be help with shower.
The evening shift is 30 minutes long and covers help with personal care and getting SPA-FDA ready to bed (8:30pm-9pm).
The ideal PA will have dementia care experience, valid DBS check and First Aid certificate. The PA must be a driver.

Personal Assistant/Support Worker (ref: SPA-DPA)

We are currently seeking a caring PA to support a 23-year-old woman living in Sutton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others live an active and engaged life within their community.

The role includes:

– Picking SPA-DPA up and dropping her off at her volunteering place (3 days/week, 3 hours each day – 9 hours total).

– Supporting her with community activities like going to the gym, catching a movie, going for walks, shopping, and more (6 hours/week).

PA/Support Worker (ref: SPA-CGO)

We are looking for a PA for a 60-year-old lady to take her to college and attending some classes with her as she is partially sighted and registered as blind. CGO wears an orthopaedic support on one leg. However, CGO has a walker with handles that she holds when outside. CGO has Learning Difficulties but is very articulate, friendly and enthusiastic about most experiences.  

The other tasks will be going for a walk to local parks, to cinema (CGO has a CEA card) and to gym.  

CGO’s primary carer would like to visit art galleries, playing golf etc occasionally, therefore, CGO can be kept company by the PA at home whilst her carer goes to her activities. 

No experience is required, however knowledge of supporting partially sighted people would be beneficial. 

The PA needs to have a car. 

Personal Assistant (ref: SPA-JJO)

We are looking for a kind, reliable, and understanding Personal Assistant to support a 43-year-old woman living with ME/CFS in Sutton.

About the Role:
This is a flexible, part-time position (2 hours per week) with tasks that may include:

  • Light cleaning (kitchen, floor, hoovering, bathroom)

  • Meal prepping and making the bed

  • Hanging out wet laundry

  • Organising/admin (e.g. phone calls, paperwork)

  • Support with medication/supplements

Important Note:
Due to fatigue and sensory overload, socialising — including talking — can be exhausting for SPA-JJO. We’re looking for someone who understands this and won’t take it personally if she’s quiet or unable to engage much.

SPA-JJO runs a small pet-sitting business focused on rats, so one of the additional PA’s tasks will be helping with cleaning cages and caring for the rats when needed.

PA/Driver – Saturday Shifts (ref: SPA-SDE)

We are looking for a reliable and punctual PA/Driver with their own car to assist with transport on Saturday mornings.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for picking up a 26 year old man (SPA-SDE) from Wallington at 10:00am, driving him to Woking Leisure Centre, and then collecting him at 12:45pm  to return to Wallington.
Key Requirements:
  • Must have a valid driving licence and own vehicle

  • Experience working with young people or in a PA role is desirable but not essential

PA/Support Worker (ref: SPA-BUA)

KCIL is seeking a warm, friendly, and reliable PA to support a 57-year-old woman in her daily life. The role involves escorting her to and from the day centre (near Croydon) and providing support while she is there, as well as enjoying simple and meaningful activities together such as going to the park and shopping. Personal care tasks will also form part of the role, carried out with dignity and respect. The main working days will be Monday and Friday, with an additional day to be agreed with the family. While some previous experience in care would be an advantage, it is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right person. Most important is a genuine willingness to learn, a caring nature, and a commitment to making a positive difference in someone’s life.

PA/Companion (ref: SPA-JCA)

We are looking for a PA/Companion to support a 21-year-old young man who enjoys dance, performing arts, cinema, bowling and social activities.
As a PA/Companion, you will be supporting SPA-JCA to access and enjoy a range of activities, including going for walks, visiting parks, and relaxing in cafés over hot chocolate.
SPA-JCA may experience anxiety in community settings, so we are looking for someone who is calm, patient, and understanding. Your role will include ensuring his safety and wellbeing at all times, while supporting him to build confidence and independence.

KCIL is seeking a friendly, reliable PA/Driver to support a young 31-year-old woman in getting to her Drama Class in Woodmansterne village.

You’ll pick her up around 7:00 pm to arrive by 7:30 pm, then collect her at 10:00 pm when the class finishes. You won’t need to stay during the class, just return for pick-up.

KCIL is seeking a patient, understanding, and dependable PA to work with a 22-year-old autistic man who enjoys getting out into the community, but sometimes needs reassurance and support to manage feelings of anxiety.
Your role will be to help him feel calm, confident, and safe, whether he is at home or out and about. You’ll be there to listen, offer encouragement, and guide him through daily activities. Some days, you might accompany him to places he enjoys in the local area, supporting him to take part in community life. Other days, you may be offering quiet, steady support at home.
We are looking for someone who can build a positive, trusting relationship with him and his family. An understanding of autism (or a willingness to learn) will help you succeed in this role. The most important qualities are patience, empathy, and reliability.

PA/Companion (ref: SPA-GCO)

We are seeking a kind, reliable, and supportive female PA to help a 64-year-old woman maintain her independence and enjoy day-to-day life.

You will be providing both practical assistance and emotional support. This includes help with personal care such as washing and dressing, along with encouragement and support to complete physiotherapy exercises. You’ll also assist with preparing healthy meals and snacks in line with a pescatarian diet, as well as general household tasks including ironing, washing dishes, cleaning, and food shopping.

Out and about, you’ll accompany SPA-GCO to appointments, swimming, and social activities – so being a confident driver with your own car is essential.

Part of your role will involve reminding SPA-GCO to take medication, learning how to support with continence care using the Coloplast system and TTNS, and lending a hand with her two friendly German Shepherd dogs – feeding them and being comfortable around large pets.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A car driver with your own vehicle.
