Your Opinion Matters: do you have a PA in Kingston borough?

A loud speaker saying Your Opinion Matters

Kingston Council and Kingston Centre for Independent Living (KCIL) are working together on a survey for people who have a Personal Assistant (PA).

The survey is about your experience of finding and working with a PA in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. Your answers will help Kingston Council understand what is working well and what could be improved, so support is easier and better for everyone in the future.

KCIL regularly works with Kingston Council to make sure the voices of disabled people and Direct Payment users are heard. This survey is part of that ongoing work.

About the survey

The survey asks questions about your experience of finding a Personal Assistant, getting advice and support, and what has helped or could be improved. The questions have been designed with Kingston Council and build on previous surveys, so we can understand what has changed over time.

The survey is confidential and anonymous. Taking part will not affect your Direct Payment or your care. You can complete the survey yourself, or a family member or carer can help you.

Why your views matter

Your experience helps Kingston Council and KCIL understand what it is really like to recruit and work with a PA. It also helps improve information, advice and support, and supports future planning based on what people say they need.

Even if you only answer a few questions, your views still make a difference.
