The Recruitment Officer plays a vital role in supporting our Direct Payments contracts in Kingston for both adults and children, to enable disabled people, people with complex health conditions, and carers to recruit and retain suitable Personal Assistants (PAs). This role focuses on developing and managing a pool of skilled, values-driven PAs, facilitating the recruitment process, and ensuring alignment with personalisation, safeguarding, and the social model of disability.
Direct Payment Support Service Advisors – Kingston and Croydon
Direct Payment Advisors provides information, advice, and support to disabled people, people with complex health needs, and their carers who are or may be eligible for a Direct Payment from the Local Authority or NHS. The service supports them to find and recruit their own Personal Assistants (PAs), in line with the Care Act 2014, particularly Section 1 (Wellbeing Principle) and Section 26 (Direct Payment arrangements).
