We’re pleased to share our upcoming PA training dates for January to March 2026. These sessions are open to support workers, personal assistants (PAs), and carers who want to refresh or build essential skills.

Learn safe moving and handling techniques to protect yourself and the people you support.

All sessions are free for PAs, carers and people who employ PAs. Spaces are limited, so please book early to secure your place.

 Certification requirement

To receive your certificate, you will complete a short test paper after the training. If completing the training online, complete the test paper and return it by email to the trainer.

Our First Aid and Manual Handling training includes a free light lunch and the chance to chat with other people attending the course. The KCIL team will be on hand to give advice on the latest job opportunities, or if you’re a PA employer, further available training and support.

Note: As our PA training courses cover a lot of material, you will not qualify for a training certificate if you’re more than 20 minutes late, so we would not be able to admit you to the training. We will let you know the precise location of the training on confirmation of a place on the course; we recommend planning your journey in advance.
