Sponsor KCIL at the London Landmarks Half Marathon

KCIL runners Monty, Amelia and Jason are busy training for the London Landmarks Half Marathon on 2 April –

First up – Monty (John). Husband to KCIL’s Kirsty, this is the second race Monty has run for KCIL.

My training isn’t going as well as expected, but it is going in the right direction, there just doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day or days in the week!

I’m running for KCIL because of the obvious connection with my wife working there, but also because there are lots of smaller charities out there doing good work for the community that need support, so if I can, I’m happy to help in such a small way.

There is also the knowledge that with my daughter being deaf, there is a good chance that her or us may need support from a charity just like KCIL in the future.

I’m looking forward to blowing the proverbial cobwebs away ready for a good start to the spring with this run, it will also be a nice way to see the sites I often hear about or travel under!

Next up is Amelia – a familiar name to many people who KCIL have supported. Amelia is a brand new runner, so it’s extra impressive that her first ever race is a half marathon.
