Fundraising for KCIL
Why raise funds for Kingston Centre for Independent Living?
As we are a small charity, we rely on the support of generous people to enable us to continue to deliver our services and activities for disabled people in South West London. Whilst the pandemic has been challenging for everyone, for many people living with impairments, it has exacerbated existing barriers to society. Even now, in 2023, we are supporting people who have barely left home for three years who feel left behind. As the coming year unfolds, we are seeing the energy and cost of living crisis cause increasing levels of anxiety and concern amongst disabled people.
Your support will raise vital funds to enable us to:
Improve the quality of life for disabled people
Provide well-being services such as social activities and befriending
Strive for the full equality and inclusion of disabled people in Kingston and beyond
Arrange trips and days out for people in the community
How does your support help?
£5 pays to support a disabled person in a coffee morning
£10 pays for a 30-minute befriending call to a disabled person
£20 pays to support a disabled person to complete a benefits claim
£50 pays towards a supported social event in the community
