Support Worker/PA (ref: SPA-SSA and SPA-NSA)

We are seeking a friendly, caring and reliable Personal Assistant/Support Worker to support SPA-NSA and her mother, SPA-SSA with various activities and tasks. This is a flexible, casual position with hours ranging from 2-10 per week, depending on needs. 

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others and is available for occasional companionship and support. Duties include: assisting with weekly shopping, occasional help with transporting a cat to veterinary appointments, accompanying SPA-NSA and SPA-SSA to London for trips to the theatre, museums, or other local outings such as the cinema, garden centers, or Christmas markets, assisting with hospital appointments, including: dropping SPA-NSA off for surgery in November (around 7:30 am), staying with her until she goes in and then delivering shopping to SPA-SSA, picking SPA-NSA up post-surgery, doing any necessary shopping, and assisting SPA-NSA at home during recovery, including help with rehabilitation as needed. 
Other tasks will be occasional trips to Godstone, lunches, or coffee.
 
The PA we are looking for will have a valid driving license and be comfortable in driving. Access to a car would be beneficial.
You’ll provide companionship and assistance with both routine and spontaneous activities.

Experience in nursing, especially personal care would be beneficial for this role. DBS can be done by the employer if you do not currently possess one. 

The PA needs to be an animal friendly person. First Aid training is required for this role.

Support Worker/Personal Assistant (ref: SPA-MSA)

We are looking for a Personal Assistant/Support Worker for a 19-year-old woman to take her to Carshalton College (and ensuring she goes into the building) and return her back to her home address in Sutton after college.
MSA will attend college 3 days a week (Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays) and on the 4th and 5th days of the week the PA will take her out on trips in the community or to local places like shopping and cinema to support and develop MSA’s independence.
The ideal PA will have some understanding of ADHD and Autism, be compassionate and have empathy for others. Willingness to learn is important for this role.
Clean driving licence and a car are essential.

Personal Assistant (PA) (ref: SPA-MRO)

We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support a 71-year-old woman with a variety of tasks, ranging from companionship to personal care. The role includes serving meals, providing household support, and assisting with nutritional and medication needs.
 
The ideal candidate will be:

–  Patient and compassionate

– Comfortable with basic IT and admin tasks to provide support as needed

– Open-minded and happy to engage in meaningful conversations, as SPA-MRO has a spiritual outlook

– Able to work well within a team

The ideal candidate will be patient, flexible with working hours, and open-minded.

Support Worker/PA (ref: SPA-SAN)

We are currently looking for a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant to support a 53-year-old lady with her daily routine. This role is perfect for someone who is patient, calm, and genuinely caring.

Responsibilities include:

– Preparing and serving breakfast

– Assisting with the morning shower and general grooming

– Making the bed and light tidying

– In the afternoon: serving dinner, refilling the hot water bottle, and doing the washing up

We are looking for someone who values consistency, has a warm demeanor, and is attentive to the needs of others. Prior experience in a similar support role is helpful but not essential—what matters most is the right attitude.

PA/Support Worker (ref: SPA-CGO)

We are looking for a PA for a 60-year-old lady to take her to college and attending some classes with her as she is partially sighted and registered as blind. CGO wears an orthopaedic support on one leg. However, CGO has a walker with handles that she holds when outside. CGO has Learning Difficulties but is very articulate, friendly and enthusiastic about most experiences.  

The other tasks will be going for a walk to local parks, to cinema (CGO has a CEA card) and to gym.  

CGO’s primary carer would like to visit art galleries, playing golf etc occasionally, therefore, CGO can be kept company by the PA at home whilst her carer goes to her activities. 

No experience is required, however knowledge of supporting partially sighted people would be beneficial. 

The PA needs to have a car.
