The role will involve accompanying him to lessons and community activities, supporting him to take part and ensuring he is safe and well supported at all times. During the holidays, this may include days out to places such as Kew Gardens and Bushy Park, as well as skating and swimming, so someone who is confident in the water and able to swim would be preferable.

The role would suit someone dependable, patient and positive, who can support him in a respectful and encouraging way. The ability to drive is essential, and use of a car will be provided for community trips.

Unique Job Number: FH1 PA/Support Worker

We are looking for a reliable, caring and supportive Personal Assistant to provide occasional cover when the regular PA is unavailable. This is not a weekly ongoing role, the hours will be required during the main PA’s annual leave, sickness or other absences.

The main focus of the role will be preparing and reheating meals, encouraging and supporting with eating, and helping to maintain a regular mealtime routine. The PA will also assist with laundry, occasional light cleaning, keeping the kitchen and living areas tidy and organised, and providing companionship.
