Personal Assistant/Support Worker (ref: JSO)

New Malden


PA/Support Worker required to support visually impaired man in New Malden.

The PA would support trips out into the community, such as visits to the War Museum, toy military model shops, trips to the town centre and tandem riding. The PA would help JSO navigate his surroundings and provide thorough descriptions of what is around him.

Previous experience supporting visually impaired people would be ideal.

During term times, shifts will be 3 hours during the weekend. During holidays, 15 hours a week. We prefer someone who can be flexible with the specific days they can work, as sometimes hours can be transferred to the next week if JSO cannot go out.

Personal Assistant/Carer (ref: CGW)

Flexible Personal Assistant (PA)/Carer required to support a teenage girl.
We are particularly looking for cover during the school holidays, 5 hours a day. There will be flexibility about shift times, which will be discussed at the interview.
We are also looking for a PA who can provide cover when needed between 6.30 am – 9 am, weekdays, during term time.

Support Worker/Companion (ref: MAL)



We are looking for a support worker to provide companionship for a 70-year-old woman (MAL) who has had a stroke. MAL requires support when out of the home. MAL is a retired teacher with an interest in the arts and painting; she also enjoys shopping. We are looking for a support worker with similar interests who can provide companionship.

Two shifts per week; the current shift pattern is 2 hours on Tuesdays and 3 hours on Fridays. 

There is some flexibility; please let us know when you would be available in your application. Mornings (except Tuesdays) are preferred. MAL is open to one of the shifts being at the weekend.

PA/Support Worker required to support autistic 19-year-old in Chessington.

The PA would support trips out into the community, such as going swimming, to the cinema or the park, or providing company when the young man is at home.

Previous experience supporting autistic children required. One 2 hour shift a week, between 4 pm and 6 pm.

Three 2 hour shifts, flexible with occasional weekends (timings to be discussed at interview), are available to support RSM, who is partially sighted and a wheelchair user.

Tasks will include visits to the supermarket, other occasional trips out, help with housework (such as cleaning and ironing), and food preparation.

Fluent English speaker, with the use of a car and a full driving licence required. The successful candidate should like cats and ideally have previous experience working as a carer.

Support worker (ref: SBE)

Experienced and patient Support Worker/PA required for a young person with a mental health condition. The main duty is to accompany them to local parks (e.g. Bushy Park in Kingston), keep them safe and play tennis with them (all equipment will be provided, and court fees paid).

As they suffer from anxiety, the PA will initially need to work with them to gain their confidence and trust before starting out on trips into the community. Awareness of epilepsy and working with mental health patients essential, as is a calm and gentle nature.

Hours of work: Initially 2 hours a week increasing to up to 10 hours per week

Pay rate: £15 an hour

Enthusiastic carers/personal assistants required to support a teenager with special educational needs.
We are looking for carers/personal assistants with a full driving license and access to a car for trips out and helping keep SMI busy and entertained. Their carer will frequently accompany the teenager on bus journeys, which is a favourite pastime.

Ideally, we are looking for carers/personal assistants with some flexibility, shift times will be discussed at interview, but they will be around 3.30 pm – 9pm weekdays, with longer shifts at the weekends. This position is to work with a 48-year-old man who works full-time for local government in town planning. He needs a Personal “care” Assistant who can also work flexibly and to be hands on when required. He enjoys good conversation, DIY, technology, theatre, music, cinema and being with family and friends. Your role is to assist the PA User to lead his life based on his individual choice.

No experience is required for this position as comprehensive training is provided: you will need to have common sense, be reliable, reasonably fit and healthy with a positive, can-do attitude and good communication skills.

Personal Assistants provide all personal care, domestic and practical support. The includes:

·         All personal care: dressing; bathing; going to the toilet, feeding, etc

·         A waking night shift (you must be able to wake easily – a recliner chair is provided to rest whilst on-call)

·         Light housework and practical tasks

  • Accompanying to visit friends, family, meetings, etc

A disabled couple in Surbiton, south west London, are looking for a local COVID-secure cleaner with a good attention to detail, who can support them with housework and ironing in their 3-bed semi-detached home. There will be an initial deep clean (length to be discussed at interview) followed by weekly visits of 3 hours, the time of which is negotiable, but they would prefer afternoon visits. 

The cleaner will be required to take COVID precautions seriously and use appropriate PPE. The couple are looking for a cleaner who has had the COVID vaccine. 

The couple live on the K2 bus route, and there is parking available on their driveway. 

£12/hr – self-employed cleaners preferred

PA/Carer required to support a delightful and affectionate autistic, non-verbal 14-year-old boy with sensory sensitivities and some challenging behaviours.

The PA/carer would be required to keep him company, accompany him, keep him safe on walks and trips, and be confident to help with bathing, toileting, and meal preparation.

Experience with autistic children an advantage, as is a driving licence and own car, though not a requirement for the right candidate.

Rate is £12-15 depending on experience.

Hours and days will vary, min 6 hours per week though this will rise during holidays.

Band 6 Nurses (ref: ATA)

Experienced Band 5 or 6 RGN nurses required for day roles to care for a 3-year-old girl in Kingston upon Thames.

The Day Shifts will be accompanying ATA to school Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

The nurses are required to be up to date with their tracheostomy.
