KCIL is looking for a self-employed PA for an 20-year-old girl to take her to activities in the area such as Geneva Road (or just for a walk to a local park). Tube Feeding Training is essential for the role.
AFM has complex needs, and is non-verbal, but she understands what is said to her. She understands Makaton language.
A driving licence and a car would be beneficial but is not required for the right candidate.
A valid DBS – this can be done by the employer if you do not currently possess one.

Main Responsibilities:

- Mondays 8am – 7pm (possibility of additional, flexible hours and days. Ability to offer time at weekends and in school holidays an advantage)
KCIL is looking for a Personal Assistant/Support Worker to support a 27-year-old man with daytime care to include full support with dressing, mealtimes, washing and personal care. JEU is non-verbal and has severe learning disabilities. The tasks would include personal care, going for short outings (local shops, café). Must have ability to offer simple play activities at home (favourite toys, musical books) and must be able to actively engage with JEU. He is very sociable and requires positive, happy, fun support. JEU lives at home with his parents.
The ideal PA will be patient, good-humoured, vigilant, understanding and will pay attention to the details of the care required. The role is quite physically demanding so it would be useful to be a naturally active person. Judicious use of mobile phone required during working hours.
