Personal Assistant/Driver (ref: CDP-RRAd)

Main Role – Driving

Dropping off  in central London eg museums, 
Kew gardens, restaurants and shops. Confident driving into central London, and various London
boroughs, and finding a disabled car parking space. Client has a blue badge and their own vehicle. Stay in the vicinity in case assistance is needed.

Applicant must be a careful driver and a non-smoker, who understands that our client is immunocompromised. Applicant must be prepared to wear a mask in the car

 

Personal Assistant (ref: CDP-TDu)

Drivers licence required: Yes
Own vehicle needed: Yes

A 60-year-old woman is seeking a carer to assist with a range of household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, gardening, and general upkeep. Due to a disability that affects her mobility, she is unable to manage these responsibilities independently and requires reliable support within her home.

The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, maintain high standards of housekeeping, and be capable of completing everyday domestic tasks with care and consistency. Sensitivity and understanding are essential, as she shares her home with her adult son who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and learning difficulties.

The household also includes a dog, so applicants must be comfortable around animals and willing to interact with the family pet.

Working hours are flexible and may vary depending on weather conditions, particularly for outdoor tasks such as gardening. A minimum of four hours per week is required, with the possibility of additional hours by mutual agreement. Holiday cover may also be available.

Due to a compromised immune system, the successful applicant must adhere to strict hygiene and infection control standards to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

 

Personal Assistant (ref: CDP-MDU)

A personal assistant is being sought to support a 33-year-old individual who experiences a range of challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), epilepsy, and behaviours that may be considered complex. The role focuses on providing comprehensive assistance across daily living activities, including:

🧼 Personal Care

  • Support with toileting, dressing, washing, and other hygiene-related tasks.

🏡 Home Assistance

  • Help with meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.

🚶‍♂️ Community Access

  • Assistance with entering and exiting vehicles.
  • Support during outings in the community.
  • Participation in activities such as dog walking.

This individual’s primary hobby is walking his dog, so the ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic walker who enjoys spending time outdoors and is comfortable around dogs. He also enjoys swimming, and applicants must be confident in water up to 1.3 meters in depth.

Due to the complexity of his social and emotional needs, the most important aspect of this role is building a trusting and secure relationship. The assistant must be someone who can offer a consistent and reassuring presence.

🕒 Working Hours & Flexibility

  • Shifts are primarily aligned with his routine, especially community outings and long walks.
  • A variety of shifts are available, including weekends, evenings, and waking night shifts.
  • Candidates should be flexible and open to additional shifts, particularly for holiday cover.
  • Work is scheduled on a rolling four-week basis, with hours offered in advance and the freedom to accept or decline with four weeks’ notice. This system ensures both structure and adaptability to meet the individual’s evolving needs.

📔 Documentation & Reporting

  • All personal assistants are required to maintain a detailed shift log.
  • Logs must include incident reports, behavioural observations, and a summary of daily tasks.
  • These records must be submitted within 24 hours of completing each shift.

 

Support Worker (ref: CRO-AGO)

We are looking for a reliable and caring person to provide support on an ad hoc basis. Morning and/or evening shifts are available and the PA can choose the days that suit her/him. This role would be ideal for someone looking for flexible hours.

PA/Companion, (ref: CRO-ABE)

A reliable, caring, good humoured person is being sought to join a small friendly team who provide support for a 25 year old young woman with severe learning difficulties. 
 
CRO-ABE lives in the family home, in a warm, supportive environment. She needs 1:1  support with all aspects of daily living and personal care, while being encouraged to do as much for herself as possible.
 
The successful candidate will be proactive, patient and enthusiastic, and happy to be fully involved in all aspects of CRO-ABE’s life. Support may include:
  • Personal care and daily living support
  • Helping to prepare simple meals
  • Supporting physical activity such as walking, gym and swimming
  • Attending music groups, social clubs and rebound therapy
  • Supporting volunteering placements and community activities
  • Spending time at home playing educational games, reading, growing plants
  • Supporting learning activities such as writing her name and developing life skills
Communication
Good, expressive communication skills are essential, as CRO-ABE has limited speech. The family and support team often use Makaton to aid communication (training/support can be provided).
Experience & Requirements
  • Experience in disability support is not essential — full support and guidance will be provided by experienced team members
  • A kind, respectful and person-centred approach is essential
  • A driving licence would be an advantage

Live-In Support Worker / Carer, (ref: CRO-STH)

We are a warm and welcoming family based in Purley, looking for a kind, compassionate and reliable live-in support worker to help care for our two elderly parents in their comfortable ground-floor, two-bedroom apartment.
One parent experiences mobility difficulties, while the other is living with dementia. For this reason, we are seeking someone who is patient, understanding, and genuinely caring, with the ability to provide both practical support and reassuring companionship.
The role involves assisting with everyday routines and personal care, including help with showering, dressing, and general wellbeing. You will also support with light housekeeping duties and creating a calm, safe and positive home environment. Just as importantly, we are looking for someone who can offer friendly company and emotional support, helping our parents feel comfortable and valued each day.
Applicants must be registered, self-employed, legally permitted to work in the UK, and able to provide a valid DBS check along with references. Previous experience supporting individuals with dementia or mobility needs would be highly valued.
