This includes offering support with cutting nails, helping with light housekeeping duties, preparing simple and healthy meals, and accompanying her on shopping trips or walks in the local area. The ideal person will be someone who enjoys helping others, is patient and respectful, and understands the importance of maintaining dignity and choice at all times.
The hours are spread across three mornings and afternoons each week, with some flexibility to accommodate both your schedule and the individual’s needs. Experience in a similar role would be helpful, but a caring attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn are most important.

PA/Companion (ref: CRO-PDR)

We are looking for a warm, reliable, and dedicated female PA to provide companionship and gentle support to an 84-year-old gentleman living in Croydon who is living with Alzheimer’s. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, caring, and enjoys making a genuine difference in someone’s daily life.
Support will include assisting with light household chores, preparing lunch, offering company and conversation, and helping with day-to-day activities in a calm and reassuring manner. As part of the role, you will also provide some assistance with simple online tasks such as managing subscriptions or helping to navigate digital devices, so a degree of confidence with technology is important.
We are looking for someone kind-hearted and dependable who can build a positive relationship with the gentleman and his family, bringing not just practical help but warmth, patience, and understanding. Hours are part-time and can be arranged flexibly to suit both parties.

PA (ref: CRO-TTA)

We are looking for a caring, energetic, and reliable PA to support a 23-year-old man living in Croydon.

We are seeking someone who can bring positive energy to the role—someone active and lively enough to keep up with CRO-TTA’s pace, while also being calm, consistent, and able to maintain appropriate boundaries. It’s important that you have a good understanding of safeguarding and can offer support in a respectful and appropriate way. You will need to remain alert and attentive to ensure CRO-TTA’s safety at all times, as he is unable to assess or judge certain risks for himself.

PA (ref: CRO-DAE)

We are looking for a reliable female PA to support a 58-year-old gentleman with a visual impairment, based in Croydon.

The PA will assist with domestic activities such as shopping, cleaning the oven and cooker, hoovering, cleaning the bathroom, doing the washing and using the tumble dryer, as well as making the bed. Support will also include opening letters, making phone calls on his behalf to arrange appointments or other important matters, and helping to check electronic devices to ensure they are up to date. Clear and confident verbal communication is essential, as the PA will need to point out any hazards or items that may be on the floor, and highlight anything that may require cleaning or attention.

Because part of the role involves travelling to Tesco for shopping and supporting him when accessing the community, applicants must have a car and be comfortable offering physical guidance by allowing CRO-DAE to take their arm when out and about.

PA (ref: CRO-LEL)

We are looking for a reliable and compassionate female PA to assist a friendly employer with daily living, personal care, and household tasks. This is a hands-on role that requires empathy, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to make a difference in someone’s day-to-day life.

You’ll also assist with medication reminders, physiotherapy exercises, and occasional support with makeup, hair styling, and attending social or medical appointments.

You’ll play an important part in maintaining a safe, clean, and organised home environment, ensuring everything the employer needs is within easy reach. The position also includes helping with light administrative tasks such as sorting mail, writing cards, and making phone calls when required.

Full training and guidance will be provided. The ideal candidate will be dependable, respectful, and attentive, with a caring nature and good communication skills.

PA/Support Worker (ref: CRO-DGO)

CRO-DGO is looking for a responsible, mature and reliable PA to provide weekly support to a 53-year-old woman based in South Norwood. This part-time role offers 20 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, with flexible hours available for the right candidate. We are seeking someone who is patient and organised, with the confidence to take initiative and help create a stable, well-structured daily routine.

The role involves assisting with a range of household tasks, including general cleaning, light domestic duties and meal preparation, as well as offering gentle reminders about daily activities such as taking a shower and keeping on top of personal organisation. You will also support with paperwork, booking doctor appointments, managing correspondence and helping to plan and organise day-to-day routines so that life runs smoothly and consistently. This position does not include personal care, and driving would be an advantage, although it is not essential.

If you are dependable and committed to helping someone maintain independence and structure in their daily life, this could be the ideal role for you.

Support Worker (ref: CRO-ITA)

We are seeking two dedicated and reliable PAs to provide cover during the period mentioned above for a 58-year-old man who is bed bound and requires consistent, attentive, and compassionate support. This temporary cover role involves the two PAs working together to ensure that every aspect of the client’s daily care is delivered safely, comfortably, and with dignity.
The role includes attending four daily calls: a morning call at 10am lasting an hour and a half, a lunchtime call at 1pm also lasting an hour and a half, a shorter tea-time visit at 4pm of around thirty minutes, and an evening call between 6 and 7pm of approximately thirty minutes. These visits form an essential structure to the client’s day and help maintain his wellbeing and routine.
Because the client is fully bed bound, he requires complete support with all personal care, including washing, changing, feeding, and repositioning where necessary. The role also involves managing and emptying his urine bag, managing his catheter bag, and ensuring that his environment is safe, comfortable, and hygienic at all times. The work demands a calm and confident approach, a clear understanding of personal-care responsibilities, and the ability to carry out tasks with sensitivity and respect.
We are looking for individuals who have experience supporting people with high personal-care needs and who can step confidently into a role that requires reliability, patience, and practical skill. The ideal PAs will be comfortable working as part of a small team, able to communicate clearly, and committed to providing consistent, high-quality care throughout the cover period.

PA/Support Worker (ref: CRO-MJO)

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic PA to support a 21-year-old man, CRO-MJO, at The Garwood Foundation Bramley Hill Day Centre in Croydon. This role involves meeting CRO-MJO twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays to provide one-to-one support during the day centre sessions. Each session lasts five hours, making this a total of ten hours per week. CRO-MJO will be dropped off and collected by his family, so there is no requirement for the PA to drive or provide transport.
The role focuses on supporting CRO-MJO to fully engage in the activities offered at the day centre, encouraging participation, building confidence, and promoting independence in a supportive and respectful way. The successful PA will work alongside staff at the centre to help CRO-MJO feel included, motivated, and comfortable throughout the sessions, adapting support to his individual needs and preferences.
CRO-MJO is non-verbal, so this role would suit someone who is patient, observant, and confident in finding and developing effective ways to communicate, whether through gestures, visual cues, or other alternative communication methods. A positive attitude, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting young adults with additional needs are essential.

Cover PA/Support Worker (ref: CRO-GLB)

We are seeking a kind, reliable, and experienced carer to provide ad-hoc evening and weekend support for a 93-year-old lady living with Parkinson’s disease. This role is based in her own home and focuses on maintaining comfort, dignity, and routine while offering reassurance and practical support.

The support involves assisting with personal care, preparing light meals and snacks, administering and monitoring medication, and ensuring good nutrition. Mobility support is part of the role, using a Sara Stedy, so confidence and experience with mobility aids is important. The PA will also support with light domestic tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, doing dishes, laundry, changing beds, taking out trash, and light kitchen/bathroom surface cleaning.

Evening support is usually required Monday to Friday between approximately 6pm and 8:30pm, helping with medication, a light snack, and personal care to prepare for bedtime. On Saturdays, support is needed in the morning from around 9am to 11am for medication, personal care, and breakfast; in the afternoon from 1pm to 3pm for medication, bathroom assistance, and lunch using pre-prepared meals; and again in the evening from 6pm to 8:30pm. Some flexibility with days and times is available and can be discussed.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting older people, ideally those living with Parkinson’s disease or similar conditions, and will be comfortable using mobility aids such as a Sara Stedy. A calm, compassionate, and respectful approach is essential, along with reliability and trustworthiness.

We are particularly looking for cover between 16 February to 1 March.

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and flexible PA. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a few guaranteed hours each week with the opportunity for additional work when covering planned or unplanned absences. You will be working alongside an existing PA, stepping in to cover holiday leave or sickness as needed.
The successful candidate will begin with four guaranteed hours per week, spread over one or two days, with working times that can be adjusted for the right person. Your role will involve helping to maintain a smooth and comfortable daily routine, offering support with personal care, preparing meals (Jamaican meals, Pasta dishes & Slimming World friendly meals etc..), household cleaning, shopping and assisting with general organisation. We are looking for someone warm-natured, patient and proactive, who values dignity, independence and consistency of care.

PA/ Guide (ref: CRO-AYH)

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and patient PA / Guide to support an 18-year-old young man with autism who is registered blind. This is a companion and guidance role, focused on supporting him to access and enjoy his local community safely and confidently.

As a PA/Guide, you will provide practical guidance and companionship, helping him navigate environments while encouraging independence, confidence, and social engagement. A calm and understanding approach is essential, as well as the ability to build a positive and trusting relationship.
Experience working with people who have a visual impairment is desirable, but not essential. The most important qualities are reliability, patience, and a willingness to learn. This role would suit someone who is compassionate, open-minded, and genuinely interested in supporting a young person to lead an active and fulfilling life. Guidance and support will be provided to the right candidate.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference, offering one-to-one support in a friendly and flexible working arrangement, with an hourly rate of £15–£16 per hour.
