Personal Assistant/Driver (ref: CDP-RRAd)

Main Role – Driving

Dropping off  in central London eg museums, 
Kew gardens, restaurants and shops. Confident driving into central London, and various London
boroughs, and finding a disabled car parking space. Client has a blue badge and their own vehicle. Stay in the vicinity in case assistance is needed.

Applicant must be a careful driver and a non-smoker, who understands that our client is immunocompromised. Applicant must be prepared to wear a mask in the car

 

Personal Assistant (ref: CDP-TDu)

Drivers licence required: Yes
Own vehicle needed: Yes

A 60-year-old woman is seeking a carer to assist with a range of household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, gardening, and general upkeep. Due to a disability that affects her mobility, she is unable to manage these responsibilities independently and requires reliable support within her home.

The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, maintain high standards of housekeeping, and be capable of completing everyday domestic tasks with care and consistency. Sensitivity and understanding are essential, as she shares her home with her adult son who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and learning difficulties.

The household also includes a dog, so applicants must be comfortable around animals and willing to interact with the family pet.

Working hours are flexible and may vary depending on weather conditions, particularly for outdoor tasks such as gardening. A minimum of four hours per week is required, with the possibility of additional hours by mutual agreement. Holiday cover may also be available.

Due to a compromised immune system, the successful applicant must adhere to strict hygiene and infection control standards to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

 

Personal Assistant (ref: CDP-MDU)

A personal assistant is being sought to support a 33-year-old individual who experiences a range of challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), epilepsy, and behaviours that may be considered complex. The role focuses on providing comprehensive assistance across daily living activities, including:

🧼 Personal Care

  • Support with toileting, dressing, washing, and other hygiene-related tasks.

🏡 Home Assistance

  • Help with meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.

🚶‍♂️ Community Access

  • Assistance with entering and exiting vehicles.
  • Support during outings in the community.
  • Participation in activities such as dog walking.

This individual’s primary hobby is walking his dog, so the ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic walker who enjoys spending time outdoors and is comfortable around dogs. He also enjoys swimming, and applicants must be confident in water up to 1.3 meters in depth.

Due to the complexity of his social and emotional needs, the most important aspect of this role is building a trusting and secure relationship. The assistant must be someone who can offer a consistent and reassuring presence.

🕒 Working Hours & Flexibility

  • Shifts are primarily aligned with his routine, especially community outings and long walks.
  • A variety of shifts are available, including weekends, evenings, and waking night shifts.
  • Candidates should be flexible and open to additional shifts, particularly for holiday cover.
  • Work is scheduled on a rolling four-week basis, with hours offered in advance and the freedom to accept or decline with four weeks’ notice. This system ensures both structure and adaptability to meet the individual’s evolving needs.

📔 Documentation & Reporting

  • All personal assistants are required to maintain a detailed shift log.
  • Logs must include incident reports, behavioural observations, and a summary of daily tasks.
  • These records must be submitted within 24 hours of completing each shift.

 

Support Worker (ref: CRO-AGO)

We are looking for a reliable and caring person to provide support on an ad hoc basis. Morning and/or evening shifts are available and the PA can choose the days that suit her/him. This role would be ideal for someone looking for flexible hours.

A reliable, caring, good humoured person is being sought to join a small friendly team who provide support for a 25 year old young woman with severe learning difficulties. 
 
CRO-ABE lives in the family home, in a warm, supportive environment. She needs 1:1  support with all aspects of daily living and personal care, while being encouraged to do as much for herself as possible.
 
The successful candidate will be proactive, patient and enthusiastic, and happy to be fully involved in all aspects of CRO-ABE’s life. Support may include:
  • Personal care and daily living support
  • Helping to prepare simple meals
  • Supporting physical activity such as walking, gym and swimming
  • Attending music groups, social clubs and rebound therapy
  • Supporting volunteering placements and community activities
  • Spending time at home playing educational games, reading, growing plants
  • Supporting learning activities such as writing her name and developing life skills
Communication
Good, expressive communication skills are essential, as CRO-ABE has limited speech. The family and support team often use Makaton to aid communication (training/support can be provided).
Experience & Requirements
  • Experience in disability support is not essential — full support and guidance will be provided by experienced team members
  • A kind, respectful and person-centred approach is essential
  • A driving licence would be an advantage

Support Worker / PA, ref: (CRO-NKH)

We are looking for a caring and reliable PA to support 27-year-old lady, referred to as CRO-NKH, in her daily life.
The role involves working mostly on Mondays to Thursdays, with shifts typically starting around 8:30am. Some flexibility is required, as occasional Fridays and weekends will also be part of the schedule.
As a PA, you will provide support with personal care, including assistance with showering and toileting. You will also spend meaningful time with CRO-NKH at home and in the community, supporting her with everyday activities such as cooking, washing up, tiding room, making bed going out for social activities, and attending the swimming pool. During swimming visits, you will assist her with getting ready before entering the pool and supporting her again afterwards.
The role also includes helping CRO-NKH with her physiotherapy exercises and accompanying her to visits to the mosque. As CRO-NKH is unable to use public transport, it is essential that the successful candidate has a full driving licence and access to their own car.
We are looking for someone who speaks clear English and is responsible, proactive and able to think creatively when providing support. The ideal candidate will be encouraging and motivating, helping CRO-NKH develop and maintain her independence while showing initiative and a positive attitude in day-to-day situations.

Support Worker / PA, ref: CRO-NAK – day shifts

We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic PA to support a 24-year-old woman in Purley. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference by supporting her with daily living and helping her enjoy a range of social and community activities.
The position involves providing personal care, including support with showering and toileting. Alongside this, the PA will help with everyday tasks such as helping tidying room, assisting with laundry and maintaining an organised living space. A key part of the role is supporting her to take part in activities she enjoys, such as bowling and trampolining, and accompanying her on outings. She also enjoys attending the mosque, and the PA will support her in getting there and participating in her community.
Communication is an important part of this role. CRO-NAK uses an iPad as part of her communication, and the ideal candidate will have knowledge of British Sign Language (BSL) to help support effective interaction. Confidence in spoken English is also essential.
We are looking for someone who is bubbly, patient, confident and trustworthy. Building trust is important and can take time, so the successful candidate should be understanding and committed to developing a positive and supportive relationship.
As CRO-NAK is unable to use public transport, the PA must hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own car in order to support her with travel to activities and appointments.
There are up to two PA positions available for the day shift role. We are also recruiting for a PA to cover night shifts, so applicants interested in combining both roles are encouraged to view the night shift advert as well (CRO-NAK – night shifts).

Night Shift Personal Assistant – ref: CRO-NAK

We are currently looking for one or two compassionate and reliable PAs to provide overnight support in Purley. This role is for night shifts totalling 48 hours per week, working four 12-hour shifts from 7pm to 7am.
The position involves supporting CRO-NAK during the night. Responsibilities include being available if she wakes, assisting with toileting when required, providing toileting care, and helping her settle back to sleep comfortably. The role requires someone who can remain attentive throughout the night and respond calmly and kindly whenever support is needed.
This is a caring role that requires patience, attentiveness, and a supportive approach. The successful candidate will be expected to stay alert during the shift and provide reassurance and practical assistance in a respectful and dignified manner. Building trust is important and can take time, so the successful candidate should be understanding and committed to developing a positive and supportive relationship.
For applicants who would prefer a wider range of working hours, the night shifts may also be combined with day shifts, offering the opportunity for more varied working patterns.
