This position is to work with a 51-year-old man who works full-time for local government in town planning. He needs a Personal “care” Assistant who can also work flexibly and to be hands on when required. He enjoys good conversation, DIY, technology, theatre, music, cinema and being with family and friends. Your role is to assist the PA User to lead his life based on his individual choice.
 
No experience is required for this position as comprehensive training is provided: you will need to have common sense, be reliable, reasonably fit and healthy with a positive, can-do attitude and good communication skills.
 
Personal Assistants provide all personal care, domestic and practical support. The includes:
 
·         All personal care: dressing; bathing; going to the toilet, feeding, etc
 
·         A waking night shift (you must be able to wake easily – a recliner chair is provided to rest whilst on-call)
 
·         Light housework and practical tasks
 
Accompanying to visit friends, family, meetings, etc

We are looking for a female PA for a 22-year cheerful young lady to support her on Fridays and non-term time. The role will involve two-way conversations, reading books and taking SYI out to the community like local parks, libraries, day trips to London, horse riding lessons in Teddington, ice-skating in Streatham or swimming in New Malden.
SYI is autistic so someone experienced in working with autistic people and people with learning disabilities would be preferred.
The ideal PA will be caring, patient, calm and attentive, making sure SYI is safe when outside, i.e. traffic safety.
Driving license and a car would be beneficial.

  • We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant (PA) to provide support for a 96-year-old lady. The main responsibilities will include:
  • 1) Managing and maintaining nutrition, primarily serving lunch (pre-prepared and stored in the fridge). Occasionally, simple meal preparation such as cooking steak or rice with a fried egg may be required.
  • 2) Providing companionship and assistance during designated mealtimes.
  • 3) Supervising ESO1 – Ensuring her well-being, encouraging hydration, and making sure she always has water nearby.
  • 4) Managing medication – Assisting with reminders and ensuring medication is taken as prescribed.
 
Work Schedule:
The PA will be required 11 hours per week as follows:
  • Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays – Two sessions per day (lunchtime and evening), up to 1 hour per session.
  • Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays – One evening session per day, up to 1 hour.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Fluent in Spanish, as the client’s first language is Spanish. Due to dementia, communication in English can sometimes be challenging, though she understands and speaks basic English on good days.
  • Patient, caring, and attentive to the needs of an elderly individual.
  • Experience in elderly care or a similar role is preferred, but not essential as training for the right candidate will be given.

– Helping with shopping, cooking, and light housework
– Making it easier for NOC1’s son to attend social events like playdates or parties
– Being able to support some online home-schooling would be a bonus
 
This role would suit someone who’s friendly, easy to talk to, and genuinely cares about helping others. The client’s husband is also visually impaired, so typically the son walks with one parent while the PA helps the other—ideally, the PA will feel confident taking the lead on navigation and logistics when needed.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant/Support Worker to assist a 97-year-old woman in her home.

Working Hours:
While there is some flexibility in scheduling, ideally the PA would be available for the following shifts:

– Fridays: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

– Saturdays: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

– Preparing tea and light refreshments

– Checking in regularly to ensure the client is comfortable and doesn’t need anything

– Providing companionship

– Occasionally assisting the client with getting ready for bed, particularly if she has had a difficult day and would like to rest earlier

The ideal candidate will be patient, friendly, and caring, with a genuine interest in providing meaningful support.
