An interactive session that will equip you with the knowledge and techniques to handle people safely. The Manual Handling course is aimed at staff working in the health and social care settings and is an opportunity to enhance your skills and boost your confidence when it comes to moving and handling.

Neurodiversity

An interactive session on understanding and embracing neurodiversity! Attendees will be exploring the concept of neurodiversity in a variety of ways with a mix of facilitated discussions, lived experienced knowledge and scenario based activities. The session will be led by an experienced neurodiversity trainer and a Lived Experience Facilitator who is a neurodivergent adult. It will be interactive and informative, and a safe place for everyone to learn and share.

Emergency First Aid at Work

This course programme employs a variety of teaching techniques to meet the needs of individuals and includes the following: Understanding the role of a first aider, contents of a first aid kit, record keeping, the unconscious casualty, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the safe use of a defibrillator, management of a choking casualty, external bleeding and shock, dressings and providing appropriate first aid for minor injuries.
