Personal Assistant (ref: SPA-CGO)

We are looking for a PA for a 60-year-old lady to take her to college and attending some classes with her as she is partially sighted and registered as blind. CGO wears an orthopaedic support on one leg. However, CGO has a walker with handles that she holds when outside. CGO has Learning Difficulties but is very articulate, friendly and enthusiastic about most experiences.  

The other tasks will be going for a walk to local parks, to cinema (CGO has a CEA card) and to gym.  

CGO’s primary carer would like to visit art galleries, playing golf etc occasionally, therefore, CGO can be kept company by the PA at home whilst her carer goes to her activities. 

No experience is required, however knowledge of supporting partially sighted people would be beneficial. 

The PA needs to have a car. 

Personal Assistant (ref: SPA-SRI)

We are looking for a female PA to support a 19-year-old young woman with Cerebral Palsy who requires assistance with nappy change, showering (twice a week), dressing and light physio. Additional responsibilities include making the bed, making simple purée food (you will be shown how to prepare it) and tidying the room.

Previous care experience would be beneficial for this role. However, training will be given for the right person. DBS can be done by the employer if you do not currently possess one.

 

Support Worker/PA (ref: SPA-SSA)

We are looking for a PA to support a 61-year-old lady with shopping, personal care, light cleaning and meal prep. The other tasks will include picking up medication from a local pharmacy. 

Experience in nursing, especially personal care would be beneficial for this role. DBS can be done by the employer if you do not currently possess one. 

The PA needs to be an animal friendly personal as SSA has a cat. First Aid training is required for this role.

Support Worker/PA (ref: SPA-DBA)

We are looking for a PA for 25-year-old non-verbal man to help him to attend activities and support sessions. The PA would need to pick up DBA on Monday at 9:30am for a 1,5-hour session starting at 10am at FROG in Morden followed by a 2-hour exercise and dance session with Lottie and Wendy. The last activity to attend on Monday is a session at Nickel Support (3:30pm- 5:30pm). The PA would only need to drop DBA for this session as father will pick him up. 

On Tuesday the PA would support DBA to access and engage in activity in the community of DBA’s choice, like going to the gym, dog walking in local parks, going for shopping or watching movie in a cinema. The times on Tuesday would be agreed with the family. 

The family is looking for someone who can provide a fun yet safe space and companionship for DBA. 

As DBA is non-verbal the ideal PA would use basic Makaton. Experience in working with challenging behaviour Service Users would be beneficial. 

First Aid and Safeguarding trainings are essential for this role. 

A full driving licence and a car is needed for the job.

Support Worker/PA (ref: SPA-HRI)

We are looking for a Personal Assistant/Support Worker to support a 44-year-old lady with daily activities, like going shopping, to cafes, to the cinema, theatre, to work (Surrey Choices) and having fun trips out and about. The PA we are looking for will also have an ability to support day to day living issues, for example, PC offline, washiness  not working, creating a healthy eating plan.

HRI has recently been diagnosed with Childhood Onset Parkinsonism Dystonia 3, which affects HRI movements and makes her ‘freeze’ many times a day. To avoid falls, HRI uses a wheelchair to get around, although there is nothing wrong with her spine or her legs.

The ideal PA will have a clean driving licence and be able to push the wheelchair.

Support Worker/PA (ref: SPA-HKT)

We are looking for a Personal Assistant/Support Worker to support a 21-year-old gentleman with activities, like going out for a  walk, travelling on public transport and accessing services within the community.

SPA-HKT was diagnosed with Autism and moderate/severe learning disabilities so experience working with autistic people and people with learning disabilities would be beneficial.

The ideal PA will be speaking Cantonese or Mandarin.

Support Worker/PA (ref: SPA-ZAK)

We are looking for a Personal Assistant/Support Worker to support a 29-year-old woman and taking her out to fun activities, like visiting zoo, going to central London, parks, swimming pool, shopping centres, arty workshops, library or cafes.

SPA-ZAK likes art and craft, painting, reading books, working with different textures. She is also interested in jewellery so the PA we are looking for likes art.

The ideal PA will be caring, calm and attentive, making sure SPA-ZAK is safe when outside, i.e. traffic safety.

It’s very important for the role that the PA will be punctual and reliable.

Driving licence and a car would be beneficial. Speaking Turkish would be a bonus, however it is not required.
